Contracts and Grants, LLC is an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and Minority Business Enterprise headquartered in metropolitan Atlanta, GA. Our location is conveniently located within 15 miles of the city of Atlanta, which provides us with close proximity to a wide variety of U.S. Government Agency offices including FEMA, CDC, HUD, USDA, NIH, and others. Additionally, our corporate location is within driving distance to Huntsville, AL, home to more than 60 federal agencies and organizations (including NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and the US Army’s Redstone Arsenal), providing us proximity to a very robust pool of federal customers—including over 300+ aerospace and defense contractors doing business in the federal sector within the Huntsville metropolitan area.
Contracts and Grants, LLC has provided program management, training, contract management, acquisition support, and strategic planning and consulting to our customers, as a corporate entity, since 2006. Our President and CEO, Ms. Linda Chatmon, has offered these same services an individual consultant since 1995. An innovative, forward-thinking entrepreneur, Ms. Chatmon is a sought-after federal contracting consultant and knowledgeable speaker whose years of experience working shoulder-to-shoulder with more than 100 federal contractors has provided her with unique insights into the federal market. The author of two books – The Road to Government Contracts and Grant-Worthy, Ms. Chatmon has also created a series of self-paced online training programs to help clients train and prepare key personnel in their organization to lead the effort to win government contracts and grants.
Over the years, Ms. Chatmon has refined Contracts and Grants’ management processes to best optimize results to our customers. Our QuickBooks®-based accounting system was designed by Subject Matter Experts who have hands-on, in-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Acquisition Regulations (DAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This system provides for collection of costs within both direct and indirect cost pools, and allows for contract-compliant reporting and ease of billing through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system.
For your staff augmentation needs, Contracts and Grants has cultivated an exceptionally strong core team to serve clients of every size, in virtually every industry sector within the U.S. Government.
